We have been reading a book every day in my class. Well, almost every day. These pictures show how we are keeping track of it.
It has been a life changing experience for me. We have been able to have many discussions that we never would have had. We talk about words that would have never come up otherwise. My students have moments when we are learning something in language arts and they make a connection back to a story we have read. It warms my heart! I may read a book a day with kids for the rest of my teaching career.
